Not so black and white

When I was getting Her Business magazine off the ground, back in 1995, it was easy to tell people what I was trying to do: "I’m starting a magazine for women in business." Easy. Simple. People understood. A magazine is tangible.

Now… Entrepreneurette isn’t so definable. Well, it’s kind of a goal setting slash mastermind slash virtual peer group… for women in business. Righto. So finding the right description (that’s interesting but not cliche, brief but not inscrutable) is proving to be an evolving challenge.

And speaking of cliche, when it comes to describing and promoting Entrepreneurette I don’t want to fall into the trap of every other prescriptive online hard sell; 7 reasons why you should; how much would you pay for this; special offer for only this much; this is what Joanne Smiths says; and so on for pages and pages… I’m so over the ‘hype’. Keep it simple is my plan.

Which leaves me ’spinning my wheels’ a bit; because simpler isn’t necessarily eaiser…
